A Quarantine Queen

Welcome back! I've done a complete overhaul of the site and am excited about the new branding I've created! This is the first of many new posts to come about topics ranging from social media to life.

I briefly talked about the effect of quarantine on my life in a previous post but I feel like there needs to be more of an emphasis on quarantine and Coronavirus so here it is... A Quarantine Queen!

You're probably thinking... what is this title and how does it relate to me? You are the quarantine queen! You can do anything your heart desires during this time and really figure out your future.

I personally found that my knowledge about marketing could be more extensive as I head into my senior year at San Diego State University. I found some free courses online and have already completed two and shared with my LinkedIn connections what I've been up to. There are a ton of these courses available online so the quote "The world is your oyster" is accurate here!

Education isn't making your eyes sparkle, maybe you are looking for a way to make some money during quarantine. There's plenty of ways to do this, especially with social media being so prevalent. Starting an Etsy shop, Poshmark page or Instagram account is super easy and a great platform to share your stuff with the world.

Tumblers, personalized paintings or cute stationary are all trending right now and with some art tools like paint, scrapbook paper or a Cricut, it's super easy to make things people will want! If you aren't very artsy, you can head into your closet and find those gently worn pieces to sell on Poshmark for some extra cash!

And finally... Instagram. If you have a solid following on your personal page and think you could sell something well knowing your audience more personally, create a new Instagram and shout it out on your personal Instagram! I did this with my small scrunchie business, Han's Scrunchies, and it was super successful because of this tactic!

The point of this post is that you can be a quarantine queen! Find something you are passionate about or have available to you and there you go! Check out my other blog posts to learn more about what I've been doing to stay busy during quarantine.
