How I Got Started
If you made it to my blog, welcome!
I realized that so many people use Pinterest, but not everyone knows how to really start their Pinterest page and grow it into a major page.
I realized that so many people use Pinterest, but not everyone knows how to really start their Pinterest page and grow it into a major page.
I first started my Pinterest account when I was dreaming about my future wedding and looking for outfit inspiration for what I was going to wear to class to impress my crush. I didn't have much of a sense of direction when it came to what was trending or how I could grow my page but since then, I've grown my number of boards, amount of pins, monthly viewers, followers and the entire aesthetic of my page!
Step 1: Choose what kind of content you want to be pinning.
Do you want to be pinning a specific aesthetic or a certain topic/theme? I started out with a board focused on clothes and outfit inspiration and grew my number of boards from there based on my interests! (Home Sweet Home and Fashionista are two of my absolute favorite boards so far)
Step 2: Find your first (or beginning set) of pinspiration!
You'll be recommended similar pins based off of the ones you choose so this is a great way to create an aesthetic you love! Typing key words is an easy way to get started or take a look at other's pages to get ideas!
Step 3: Put in the work!
I didn't start growing my Pinterest until I started putting effort in consistently. Staying active and pinning everyday is the best way to bring Pinners to your page and grow your following! My junior year of college ended abruptly because of Coronavirus, which has given me more time to focus on Pinterest!
