Swipe & Hit Goals

Hi there!

This blog post is all about how to create the Pin swipes I love and showed you on my latest blog post! If you haven't read it, click this link to check it out! Perfect Pinterest Aesthetic

Pin swipes are an easy way to market your Pinterest and show off all of your hard work!

Step 1: Start pinning!
Choose a theme or color palette to use when looking for the perfect pins! I have a few examples of my favorite swipes on the blog post linked above. My favorites usually consist of a specific color being used as an accent color in every pin. For example, find a Pin of a woman in an adorable outfit of white and light pink? Remember those two colors and keep an eye out for them when searching for your next pin!

Step 2: Make sure there is a variety!
People want to look at a bunch of different types of images and it's super easy to make that happen! I have a rule of thumb that I try to pin at least once from all of my 10 most recent boards. Room inspo, outfits, quotes, shoes, etc.

Step 3: Go to your profile and go to the area where you can see all of your most recent pins. Mine is a business account so mine may look different than yours, hopefully you don't have trouble finding it. Once you are there, swipe down from the top of your phone screen to the place where you can adjust settings and find the button for screen recording.

Step 4: Screen record! Hit the button, you'll see a countdown from 3. Go back to where all your pins are located and start slowly scrolling. The slower you scroll, the more detail your viewers will be able to see. The faster you scroll, the less detail your viewers will be able to see. It's totally up to you! Stop screen recording.

Step 5: Editing time! Head to your Photos app and crop the size of the video to show only the Pins. I would also trim the video at this time so you can only see the scrolling and none of the beginning/ending.

You're done! This has been, hands down, my favorite thing to do recently and I think it's really helped my Pinterest grow and flourish. I hope this helped you learn how to make a Pin swipe like this!
